Meet Belle! She has been in the Big Bear Valley for years.

She is named after her great great grandmother, Belle who was the first child to be born in the original camp and town named Belleville. This was actually done during a 4th of July celebration in 1860 and Belleville still exists just outside of the City of Big Bear Lake.

Belleville is a hiker’s paradise with very little to show of its former glory days. There are a couple of old graves, some mining shafts, a simple cabin, and a few pieces of mining equipment lying about the area. But it’s a great place to visit in a buggy adventure. This buggy, Belle, is our wise matriarch and helps the other buggies know more about the trips they all provide. She looks forward to meeting you and teaching you about this amazing valley.
